New iPod Video?

So it was confirmed sometime during the week that there will be an Apple event of some sort on February 28th.

Anytime there is an Apple event everybody expects a new iPod or some other cool offering by Apple. Having spent the last week working with iWeb I’m seriously hoping for a new update of that even though they just updated it last week. For one I would like to change themes without having to redo my site all over again without tinkering with XML files and all that bit.

Anyway, the above picture is supposed to be the new iPod video. Looks good but I’m hoping that it has some more PDA like functions to go with that large screen. I could use a device that plays videos, music and allows me to add appointments and remind me when I have a meeting all in one none of this two device nonsense. Personally, I’m hoping that they will announce a new Mac Mini and iBook on the 28th but hey I could be wrong. BTW yesterday was Steve Jobs 51st birthday nice should have invited us all to celebrate his birthday by unleashing more apple goodness on the world.
