Red Apple Nano

I opened my mailbox today and there was an email from Apple titled “Turn up the volume in the fight against AIDS.
A red Nano was looking at me… Now I own a black Nano already and does not intend on buying another Nano red white or any other color for that matter. I understand that this is all a part of the Product Red partnership and $10 of the $199 I would spend on the Nano goes to fight AIDS in Africa and such. Its a good thing don’t get me wrong but then I looked at World Vision website and for the $199 I would spend on a new Nano that I don’t need I could educate an orphaned child (whose parents died of AIDS) for over two years, give an orphan care kit for $127 and more than a few other options. For me this is a better choice and I’ll go this route. This would work for someone who is going to run out and buy one of the Nanos anyway. So if you are thinking about buying a new Nano chose GO RED. I can see these being quite popular around the Christmas season. Too bad they don’t offer the video iPods in this color. Maybe one of those would pop-up soon enough.
