View from My Window

The other day I was at work looking out of my window and the sun that was shining moments before became covered with ominous dark clouds. This happens quite often around here but that day I felt inspired to jot down my thoughts which I ended up composing on my iPhone. Here it is below. Enjoy!

Someone stole the sun today
not much light left in the sky
Dark clouds are moving across the firmaments blocking out the warmth
Bringing rain and snow upon the flats of space
The sun is no more but is hidden from our eyes
But there is hope as a glint of light plays on the surface of the tree tops
and part the dark clouds for a moment reminding us that there is life here
there is still warmth left in the sun and hope as the dark clouds move on…
