I would like the app zapper if you still have it. I test A LOT of software on the mac so this would be extremely useful.

I like the transparent menubar also.
I think there is a way to force it to be transparent, just like you can force it not to be.

Timemachine: never backed up my mac before this. Now I am and it is fairly transparent. First backup was a bit slow (took about an hour), but after that, I never noticed it was backing up.

No big hiccups yet - except that annoying safari crash bug that was fixed.

Hey Muse
haven't noticed any lag except that my computer seems to start up slower than it used to. It seems to me that things are faster than under Tiger. I recommend if you do the update do a bit of clean-up first and just do an upgrade not a clean install. The clean installs seems to generate problems of their own. You will also need to be careful if you are running Shapeshifter and Candybar... Uninstall those first do the upgrade then go grab Candybar 3 or the free stuff I listed here:

@ Walter that sucks that it seems so random. I thought it was due to my PPC Mini's video card but if you have a brand new iMac and this is happening then perhaps it is infact a bug. Weird... I don't mind not having the transparency now that I've ben in Leopard a while.

Hi,
Just curious, I'm thinking upgrading my mac mini to leopard too, but I heard that it might be too intense on the PPC 1.4ghz chips. Do you notice any lag in any of the new effects?

thanks,
muse
